Class Descriptions

Classical Yoga
75-minutes (In-Studio)
This class begins with centering and rest and then offers ‘Satsang’ or ‘truth talk’ on yoga philosophy in everyday human and life problems, encouraging self-trust and compassion. Question/talk back time follows, before we conclude with simple yoga postures and deep relaxation. Trauma informed, empowering, IFS informed, and community building.
Slow Flow for Emotional Care
75-minutes (In-Studio)
This class begins and ends with rest and moves slowly and combines periods of flowing through simple and gentle yoga sequences with periods of relaxed stillness. This class invites an educated relationship with our emotions based in research of what specific emotions are trying to tell us or help us with. Trauma informed, IFS informed, beneficial for stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and overall health and understanding of the whole person.

Restorative Yoga: 75 minutes
This class is like adult nap time, really. We rarely get up off the ground! You will move through a few prop supported yoga postures and have a deep, long rest.

IFS inspired Yoga: 75 minutes
Both yoga and Internal Family Systems therapy offer a few of a central self; both seek to offer compassion to any suffering. This class offers a chance to unburden your minds parts and meet yourself through compassion and courage. Practices are simple and relaxing with the occasional offering of invigorating breath-work.
